Delete your Praxos account and data

This page explains how to delete your account for Praxos, the AI assistant and team workspace app by Praxos Intelligence, Inc., available on the web, desktop, iOS and Android, and what happens to your data when you do.

Option 1: Delete it yourself (immediate)

  1. Sign in at https://app.mypraxos.com (or open the Praxos app on any device).

  2. Open Settings.

  3. Select Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and data are deleted right away, as described below. You don't need to install the mobile app to do this.

Option 2: Ask us to delete it

Email privacy@praxos.ai from the email address registered to your Praxos account, with the subject "Delete my account". To protect your account, we only act on requests sent from that address. We will reply to that address to confirm before deleting anything, and complete the deletion within 30 days of your confirmation. Requests from any other address are ignored.

Before you delete: servers you own

If you own a server (a shared team workspace) that has other members, you must first either transfer ownership to another member (Server settings → Members → Make owner) or delete the server. This keeps a team from losing its workspace without warning. Servers where you are the only member are deleted together with your account.

What is deleted

  • Your account and profile (name, email, profile photo, sign-in connections).

  • Your private conversations with Praxos, and their messages and files.

  • Your personal memory: the knowledge Praxos built from your private chats and connected accounts.

  • Your connected accounts (for example Google, Microsoft, Notion): we delete the access tokens and the data we imported from them.

  • Your preferences, schedules and automations.

  • Servers where you are the only member, including their channels and memory.

What is kept

  • Messages you posted in shared channels, group chats and DMs stay visible to the other people in them, so their conversations stay readable. They are shown as from "Deleted user", with your name, email and photo removed. Files you shared there remain part of that shared history.

  • A server's shared memory may still contain information that came from messages you posted in that server.

  • Moderation records: reports you made, or that were made about your content, kept to keep the service safe.

  • Billing records we are legally required to keep (if you ever paid for a plan).

  • Backups: deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before it is overwritten.
